stairway to vegan

Sharing a journey into the world of fabulous vegan food.

About

ef3a51c441fd5767e05f82d21a3d3b50 Welcome to my journey into the wonderful world of vegan food.

My name is Tracy and I have always been interested in a healthy balanced lifestyle. What better way to add to that than moving to a vegan (somethimes raw, sometimes not) diet.
Looking for new exciting recipes has opened the door to a vibrant, creative and astonishing world. I have found so many truely talented and inspiring people out there that I thought “why not pull all this wonderful information together in one place?”

My other passions are writing, cooking and photograpy. When you combine them all together, a blog is born.

I currently live in Canada, but am originally from Australia. I am blessed with two wonderful children and three perfect granddauthers. To top it off, I live with my best buddy, “Cooper” the wonderdog. He is a real character who absolutely cannot live without a daily belly rub. I think he was a rabbit in a former life, everytime I reach for a carrot, he is at my side waiting for his four slices. Yes, four. Did I mention he can count, (and spell, dont even try to do the “w…..a…..l….k” version, he will be at the door before you finish).

For me everyday is a wonderful new opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.

So here we are, travelling the “Stairway to Vegan” …… Enjoy πŸ˜‰

    • Thanks Thomas, glad you are enjoying reading my blog. I also enjoy yours. Yes Australia is a wonderful place, I do miss it, but I am now truely torn, because I love Canada too. The very distinct seasons here are great, and everyone really appreciates every second of hot sunny weather. I especially love the spring, there will still be a foot of snow on the ground, and the temperature will still be below zero, but if the sky is blue and the sun is shinning, then we are all out, walking, running, pushing stollers and riding bikes….very uplifting πŸ™‚

      • Hi Tracy, I know what you mean and I can relate to what you say. I too have lived in a colder climate and there are magical parts to the season which I miss, but in saying that I love being warm and even when it rains here it is not cold.. I visited Quebec and Montreal a few years ago in late summer, it was so nice and the long summer evenings were just beautiful. Lovely people too the Canadians. I really noticed the difference when I travelled after my trip and went to New Jersey which was beautiful too however some of the people reminded me I was in the USA. Thanks and enjoy your week πŸ˜‰
